Cadaqués

·Location: Cadaqués is a town in the Alt Empordà comarca, in the province of Girona, Catalonia.

·Curiosities: This town has a peculiar history. The people who inhabited it in the past, lived facing the sea and practically separated from the rest of the region until the late nineteenth century. It was isolated by the Pení mountains.
So many people liked this town that in 2010, a Chinese developer, announced its intention to build a near-exact copy of Cadaqués in China!
·How to go there: There is no limitation! By road, train,... even by plane! (The nearest airport is in Girona - 1 hour from there). To more specific information go to this website, it has all the information you need to teleport yourself to to this town.
·Touristic interests: If you go to Cadaqués, you should visit this sites:
1) Salvador Dalí House-Museum
2) Church of St. Mary (17th century)
3) Hermitage of Sant Sebastià, a large house located high on the mountain Pení behind Cadaqués. It is a private residence not open to the public. The hermitage is surrounded by cork trees, and is built on a steep slope.
4) Natural Park of Cap de Creus.

Introducing European Paradise

Hello everyone and welcome to "European Paradise".

·How to go there: If you want to travel to this place, there is no road to acces the valley. The only accessible way is from the south, via a rack railway (the Vall de Núria Rack Railway).
·Touristic interests: There are a lot of things that you can do there, but if skiing is one of your favorites sports, you are lucky, because there is one ski resort up there!
